Show Quality Puppy Purchase Agreement



This agreement is made and entered into this ____day of _________,¡¡
2010 by and between Cindy Munroe (hereafter ¡°Seller¡±), and¡¡
_______________(hereafter ¡°Buyer¡±), for the purpose of setting forth
the¡¡terms and conditions¡¡of¡¡the purchase of a purebred American Staffordshire

Terrier puppy from the¡¡litter¡¡whelped on _______________, out of

__________________________________________AKC#___________and

__________________________________ _______ AKC# ____________.

For good and valuable consideration,¡¡the Seller agrees to sell and the Buyer agrees to

buy one___male____ female puppy from the litter described above, AKC Registration #____________ subject to the following:
Seller warrants that the above described puppy is a Show Quality purebred American
Staffordshire Terrier, and may be registered with the AKC and that
registration papers have been provided to the Buyer.

Puppy sold under this agreement is determined to be of Show Quality, and able to complete it¡¯s AKC Conformation Championship in a reasonable amount of shows.

Ownership of the puppy will be transferred to the Buyer for the sale price
of $ ____ and terms stated above. Seller warrants that every reasonable effort has been¡¡made to assure that the sire and dam of above described puppy, are of
sound temperament and in good health.

Seller warrants the above-described puppy is in good health at the time¡¡
Buyer assumes ownership. If, as a result of examination by a Veterinarian within 5 days of ownership, it is determined that the puppy¡¡is not in good health, the Buyer may elect to return the puppy. Upon receipt of the puppy, the Seller shall be obligated to refund all¡¡
moneys received from the Buyer toward the purchase of the puppy and¡¡
further performance under the contract shall be null and void.

If said puppy develops a life threatening or crippling heritable condition before the age
Of 24 months, a replacement puppy of equal or better quality will be give
From next available litter.

Buyer agrees that this animal will not be used for breeding purposes until¡¡
at least Eighteen (18) months of age, of sound temperament, in good¡¡
health and free of communicable and hereditary diseases.

It is preferred that the above-described puppy shall carry ¡°Calmaine¡±
as part of the AKC registered name.

Buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this¡¡
puppy.

Buyer will notify the Seller before re-homing said puppy.
Puppy may at the Seller¡¯s option, be repurchased by the Seller, for a price agreeable
between both parties.

Buyer agrees that the puppy will have as it¡¯s permanent residence, the
home¡¡of the Buyer, have access to a fenced area, not be chained or
tethered¡¡and will¡¡be provided with proper housing, diet and exercise.
Buyer agrees to¡¡provide adequate veterinary care, including but not¡¡
limited to¡¡annual checkups¡¡and heartworm tests, to keep all¡¡
immunizations current,¡¡according to the American Veterinary¡¡
Medical Association guidelines, and¡¡properly administer¡¡
heartworm preventative.



2. Violation of the terms of this contract that could negatively impact
this puppy¡¯s health, safety or well being shall result in Buyer being¡¡
required to return¡¡the puppy to the Seller within five (5) days of receipt of
notice from¡¡Seller.¡¡Buyer will be responsible for the cost of the puppy¡¯s¡¡
transportation¡¡back to¡¡Seller. Seller is under no obligation to refund any¡¡
moneys to Buyer


3. Should Buyer violate this agreement, he/she will be responsible for all
legal cost incurred by Seller in enforcing this agreement.
This agreement is made and signed by both parties to insure the well
being¡¡and¡¡protection of this puppy. If any part of this Agreement is
breached by the¡¡Buyer,¡¡the Seller is released from any obligations under¡¡
this Agreement.
